During the month of july we have had two summer camps. The first one took place in Hungary were over 40 young people from Finland, Sweden, Ireland, UK and Hungary. They spent 10 days in Budapest painting and renovating houses of the association for people with Down Syndrome of Hungary and also helped in an orphanage for kids with disabilities. Behind remains lots of memories, good work, beautiful people and places.
The second one took place in Helsinki with people from Estonia, Poland and Spain where they shared different experiences about volunteering and discovered new opportunities to reach out to more people. We also took the opportunity to show the beautiful landscapes of our city.
The best way to enjoy summer: living for others.
